Preserve custom cart and checkout fields

What to do

1. Open Setup & settings → Advanced compatibility and data settings.
2. Enter the exact custom checkout field names or cart-data keys required by your extensions.
3. Save and check the normalized list; payment, password, token and secret fields are filtered out.
4. Test capture and restoration with the exact extensions and product combinations used on your store.

What to expect

Custom restoration details stay on the merchant store. Unknown or invalid cart metadata is rejected visibly rather than silently discarding a choice.

Support depends on the extension version and configuration. Test your subscription, bundle, add-on, language and currency extensions together before enabling recovery.
