Install and connect the plugin
Install Free first; add Pro to the same shared recovery engine.
What to do
- Back up your store and test on staging. Use Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin to upload WakeMyCart Free.
- Activate WooCommerce and Free. Open WooCommerce → WakeMyCart; Free is available locally without registration.
- For Pro, obtain the add-on from an eligible account and activate it alongside Free. Install WooCommerce, then Free, then Pro. The matching 1.1.8 pair is recommended; Pro requires Free 1.1.8 or later and local ABI 4. New purchases are not open yet. An account connection is optional for installed local features and required for private automatic updates.
- Follow the optional Setup guide. Complete the sender and live-store checks before enabling recovery.
What to expect
The current plugin folders are wakemycart and wakemycart-pro. Install Free before Pro. Replace previous internal review copies without uninstalling.
Free works locally without an account. Connect an eligible account for private Pro downloads, automatic updates or account services. Installed Pro features do not require an active subscription.
