Choose a live demoDemo privacy

Choose a demo

  1. Open Live demo from the Product menu, or visit /demo. Choose Try Free or Try Pro to continue to the WakeMyCart launcher on plugins.shop.
  2. Start your temporary session. It uses real WordPress, WooCommerce and WakeMyCart 1.1.19, with fictional products and recovery activity. This demo snapshot predates the direct SMTP option added in 1.1.20. No signup or personal email address is needed.
  3. Use the session’s task links to move between the merchant workspace, shopper store and demo inbox. Keep your private session URL to yourself. My account on wakemycart.com is separate customer licence, download and store management.

Pro: request an email and bring the cart back

  1. Open the Pro cart-saving task. In the shopper store, use the sample cart and the supplied fictional shopper address to request a cart email.
  2. Notice the separate reminder-permission choice. Requesting one cart email does not by itself subscribe the shopper to later recovery reminders.
  3. Open the demo inbox and inspect the captured cart email. Messages stay in the demo; nothing is delivered to an outside mailbox.
  4. Follow the email’s return link and confirm the native cart restore. Review the sample products back in the WooCommerce cart or checkout.

Free: explore a reminder and restore

  1. Start a Free session and open the reminder task. Inspect the reminder editor, sample products and preview.
  2. Open the demo inbox to inspect a captured sample reminder. Follow its return link, confirm the restore and check the sample cart.
  3. Return to the merchant workspace to explore Free’s basic recovery results and settings. Sending remains confined to the demo inbox.

Explore conditional follow-ups and reports

  • Open Pro’s follow-up controls to inspect the sample sequence, timing, cart conditions and optional offers. These are demonstration settings; do not connect a real provider.
  • Inspect detailed reports and compare the email and flow breakdowns with Free’s basic results. The starting figures are fictional examples, not a forecast or a promise of additional sales.
  • Recovery attribution records a relationship between activity and an order. It does not establish that the reminder caused an additional purchase.

Reset, end or let the session expire

A session lasts up to 30 minutes. The demo controls show the remaining time. Use Reset to start again from the sample store; a reset counts as a new start for the demo’s abuse limits.

Use End session when finished, especially on a shared device. It closes your visit. Expiry also ends access to that temporary store. The launcher can be busy when all sessions are in use; follow its retry message.

Do not enter real shopper details, payment information, private account credentials or provider keys. This demo is for fictional test activity. Installing WakeMyCart on your own store uses the normal setup, consent and Pro activation steps.

Demo session data

The demo service on plugins.shop uses the secure, HttpOnly, SameSite=Lax __Host-wakemycart_demo cookie for up to 24 hours to recognise the browser for sessions and start limits. Guest WordPress and WooCommerce cookies are scoped to the guest path. Their native cookie lifetimes can outlast a guest, but they cannot reopen an ended or expired store.

The guest store lasts up to 30 minutes. Its private temporary cart data, database and captured inbox are erased by end, reset or expiry cleanup. They are separate from your WakeMyCart customer account. Keep your session link private and use End session on a shared device.

Start limits use a keyed pseudonym of the connection address rather than storing a raw IP address in the start-limit table. Cleanup removes start-limit records older than one hour, and ended, expired or failed session metadata once it is more than 24 hours old from creation. Shared network and security request logs have separate platform retention; ending a demo does not delete those logs.

The public demo page itself does not start a WordPress session or send an email. A session begins only after you continue to the launcher and start one.
