Update the connector
Install supported updates with signed metadata and verified package bytes.
What to do
- Download the latest Free ZIP from the website and upload it through WordPress Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin; no account is needed. Free uses WordPress’s standard update mechanism when a directory update is available. Signed WakeMyCart update checks belong to the separate Pro add-on.
- Back up and test on staging. Update Free first, then Pro without uninstalling. Use the matching 1.1.8 pair; Pro requires Free 1.1.8 or later and local ABI 4. Installing or updating does not enable capture or sending.
- For connected automatic updates, the plugin verifies publisher-signed metadata, the expected package address and SHA-256 before installation.
- For a manual install, download Free publicly or Pro from the verified eligible account.
What to expect
Download Pro from an account with an eligible licence. Connected WordPress updates use a temporary download authorization; keep account credentials and download links private.
Updates verify the expected package and its integrity. If verification fails, keep the current version, download a fresh copy from WakeMyCart and contact support if the problem continues. Do not bypass the check.
